5.8/10

I had an very nice stay at The Westin Pittsburgh during my marathon training. The hotel's cleanliness and comfort stood out, and I particularly appreciated the Run Westin program. However, I was disappointed by the lack of room service and the limited hours for the restaurant, which affected my overall experience. Overall, I would rate my stay highly but wish certain services were more accommodating. 🏃‍♂️✨

Rooms
8.0
My room was spacious and pristine during my stay, contributing greatly to a restful experience. However, I did find some noise disturbances from outside vents, affecting my sleep quality.
Service
10.0
The staff, especially Chris from the Run Westin program, were exceptionally friendly and attentive. They made my running experience enjoyable, offering tips for my marathon and ensuring I had a great time.
Location
9.0
The hotel's convenient downtown location allowed easy access to major attractions, which I loved as I explored Pittsburgh during my downtime.
Dining
6.0
While I enjoyed the breakfast buffet and lunch options, I was disappointed by the restaurant's early closing time and the absence of room service, which left me scrambling for food later in the evening.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel features a large fitness center that I thoroughly enjoyed, yet the absence of a pool limited recreational options for families or those wanting to relax.

7.0/10

I had mixed feelings about my stay at The Westin Pittsburgh. While the location was incredibly convenient for my conference, I was disappointed with the room situation and overall service. The staff seemed friendly, but my experience varied greatly based on their responsiveness and willingness to help.

Rooms
5.0
The room I received did not match what I booked, leaving me frustrated. Although it was clean and had a lovely view, the absence of basic features like a microwave was disappointing. I heard complaints from others about broken beds or poorly set up rooms, which also made me wary.
Service
6.0
The service I received was inconsistent. While some staff members were kind and went the extra mile—like the housekeeper who regularly checked on me—others were not as helpful or responsive when issues arose, which left me feeling neglected at times.
Location
8.0
The hotel's central location was definitely a key highlight for me since it was connected to the convention center, allowing me to easily access my meetings and explore the city with ease. Being able to walk to nearby attractions was a plus.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were quite limited, especially since the hotel didn’t offer free breakfast. I did appreciate that there were many restaurants within walking distance, but the on-site eatery had a long wait and received mixed reviews from those I spoke with.
Facilities
5.0
The amenities could use some improvement, as I was expecting more from a hotel of this caliber. I missed having a pool for my family, and there seemed to be a lack of leisure facilities that would typically make a stay more enjoyable.

5.4/10

I had a mixed experience during my stay at The Westin Pittsburgh. While the location was excellent for exploring the city's attractions, I faced significant issues at check-in that marred the experience. The staff did their best to address my concerns, but overall, the hotel seemed poorly managed. The dining options were limited, especially for breakfast on weekends, which was quite disappointing.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was spacious but felt dated and lacked some comforts I expected. I could see the river from my window, which was nice, but the overall setup wasn't very functional and lacked a microwave or enough workspace.
Service
5.0
I found the staff friendly and accommodating, but the check-in experience was frustrating. My room was not honored as per my reservation, and getting it resolved took longer than expected.
Location
8.0
The hotel's central location is its biggest advantage, right next to various attractions like the Andy Warhol Museum and the cultural district, making it easy to explore Pittsburgh on foot.
Dining
5.0
I only tried the breakfast buffet, which was decent but not great. It was a bit disappointing that there was no breakfast for Marriott members on weekends, making dining options quite limited.
Facilities
5.0
The fitness center was well-equipped, but the lack of a functional swimming pool for families was a letdown, especially since I was visiting with family for Thanksgiving.

5.6/10

My stay at The Westin Pittsburgh had its ups and downs. I appreciated the spacious layout of the room and the central location, making it super easy to explore nearby attractions. However, the hotel felt dated and in need of some renovations, plus the parking situation was pretty frustrating. Overall, it was a decent place but not without its quirks.

Rooms
6.0
The room I got was spacious and had a nice view facing the Strip. However, I felt like the decor was a bit outdated and could really use a refresh. Plus, I was surprised there wasn't a laundry bag provided, which is usually standard.
Service

The staff were friendly and welcoming, which definitely helped brighten up my stay. I had a great experience with the check-in staff, but some interactions felt a bit rushed during busy times.
Location
9.0
The hotel is super centrally located, close to attractions like the Andy Warhol Museum and downtown. I loved being able to walk around and check out the sights without needing to drive.
Dining

I didn’t get a chance to eat at Bill's Burger, but I’ve heard good things. The breakfast options were decent, although I wish there were more variety available on the menu when I visited.
Facilities

The hotel had a large fitness center, which was a plus for me. However, I was disappointed that there was no pool available, especially since I was hoping to relax by one.

My stay at The Westin Pittsburgh was a mix of highs and lows. While the staff were incredibly friendly and the city view from my room was beautiful, the dining experience left a lot to be desired. The restaurant's wait was long and the food did not meet my expectations, though I found some great local spots not too far away.
